Jon Heredia, ESQ.
Jon is a New York State licensed attorney with years of experience in areas of contract, licensing, merchandising, employment, immigration, and intellectual property law. Jon has deep ties in the cannabis industry and through his branding company – Emerald Brand Solutions - is currently the official licensing partner of High Times Magazine. Through his partnership with High Times, Jon has forged many strong relationships with cannabis businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations.
Over the past 3 years, Jon has been involved in negotiating complex purchases of cannabis dispensaries and grow facilities in Colorado. Jon has also consulted with businesses and individuals seeking cultivation and cultivation licenses in multiple states.
Prior to his involvement in the cannabis industry, Jon served as legal counsel for popular fashion brands such as Rocksmith Tokyo, 10 Deep, Brooklyn Circus; licensing companies (Ineffable Music Group); and musicians such as Wu Tang Clan and Heiroglyphics. Jon’s profession as an attorney has integrated seamlessly into his other business advisory capacities, with years of experience in marketing, event production, public relations, and community outreach.
Jon received his undergraduate degree at the University of San Francisco and his law degree from New York University. Jon is currently an active member of the New York State Bar Association, National Cannabis Bar Association, Asian Law Caucus, and High NY.

With extensive experience and dynamic strategic partnering with Executive Management, Board of Directors, Audit Committee and internal and external regulators, Kim has demonstrated success in taking businesses to significantly higher levels of financial performance and operational excellence.
